American Shuffleboard 16ft: the longest court in the classic model

The American Shuffleboard 16ft is Heemskerk's largest classic shuffleboard table. The table is 504 cm long and 94 cm wide, the playing field measures 450 by 51 cm, and the playing height is 86 cm. Count on approximately 6,85 meters of free length. This is the size for those who play the game seriously: at 16ft, every roll requires the most control.

Why choose 16ft

The longer the lane, the greater the difference between a good throw and one that is just a little too hard. At 16ft, pucks land well by chance less often, and deflecting your opponent's puck becomes a true skill. For a shuffleboard bar, a large corporate space, or a clubhouse where competitions are played, this is the logical choice.

4 cm beech wood playing field with adjusting bolts

The playing surface is 4 cm thick beech wood with a top layer of 8 mm solid polycarbonate that can withstand heavy use. On a court of this length, the setup matters. With the adjustment bolts under the playing surface, also known as climate adjusters, you set the court slightly concave: a more concave surface plays forgivingly, while a flatter surface plays stiffer. The 16ft version features eight of them. They also compensate for the wood moving with temperature and humidity. The adjustable legs are for leveling the base, which is a separate operation.

A five-meter track through a standard door

The 16ft comes from our own factory in Poland and is built modularly. The playing field, top layer, and base arrive in separate parts, so this length also fits through a standard doorway. Our own technicians assemble the table on-site, level it, and adjust the lane. You receive a 2-year manufacturer's warranty, and pucks, sand, silicone spray, and brushes remain available.

In the hospitality industry, a shuffleboard is often rented out to guests by the hour, just like a bowling lane. A 16ft model attracts the most attention.
